Review on Yooji's Josef
The Yoojis Josef is a post-modern Japanese sushi bar in the centre of Zurich, part of a small chain of sushi restaurants. The modern restaurant has a décor of warm colours, wooden furniture and leather seats, Japanese furnishings and wall paintings help create a cosy Asian ambience. Diners can enjoy sushi, sake and sashimi à la carte in the restaurant area, bar and on the terrace. You can also order the dishes on the small computer terminals available in Yoojis Josef, or if you prefer they can be used to surf the web, or send a message to someone else in the restaurant! All dishes can be ordered as takeaways or deliveries.
The sake bar is the first of its kind in Switzerland and offers a large choice of traditional sake dishes, as well as unusual sake dishes such as okunomatsu and masumi, which are still largely unknown in Europe. The sake cocktails are particularly popular and can be served with dainty little snacks.
