Review on De Ja Vu
De Ja Vu is a popular neighbourhood restaurant on the busy high street in the town of Cheshunt in Hertfordshire serving Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a vibrant contemporary décor decked out in shades of blue, walls are adorned with arty prints and trendy electric blue lights that look great after dark.
The kitchen aims to please all-comers with its mix of curry house stalwarts and innovative regional dishes, using only healthy ingredients. Elsewhere on the menu are chef's specials in the shape of their award winning South Indian garlic chicken which is medium hot, cooked with garlic, green chillies, onions and tomatoes in a very special delicately flavoured sauce or Royal lamb, knuckle of lamb cooked with herbs and spices, served with fresh mint sauce and chillies. Fish lovers might opt for adrak ki maas, monk fish cooked in sweet, sour and ginger sauce or the coriander maas, Bengal cat fished cooked in a medium sauce.
Service is attentive and there's a comfortable lounge bar to enjoy drinks before or after your meal.
