Review on Accana Summer Club
Launched in 2016, the Accana Summer Club is a seasonal restaurant open from June to September in the small exclusive resort of Camp de Mar on the south west corner of Mallorca, 20 miles from Son Sant Joan international airport on the outskirts of Palma. It is owned by the hospitality group IT Mallorca who already own three of Palma's luxury boutique hotels, Can Alomar, Calatrava, and Can Cera. Occupying a wonderful beachfront location with views of the beautiful wide bay and the surrounding cliffs, the venue is named after an African village. A bright and breezy restaurant with the vibe of a luxury safari lodge featuring wicker chairs and lampshades, you can even reserve sunbeds and while away the day listening to the upbeat music.
The varied menu has plenty of choices to suit all tastes, for those who like fish there's cod fritters with quince aioli, as well as grilled sardines or maybe grilled meagre bass with Mediterranean herbs. The kitchen also pleases meat-eaters with mixed Iberian cuts with chimichurri or a succulent rib-eye steak. Desserts bring on board such delights as cheesecake Accana with mascarpone and Nutella or crème brulee with passion fruit.
There's an excellent wine list, beers and zingy cocktails to accompany the food.
