Review on Aux Lyonnais
This landmark Paris bistro Aux Lyonnais located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris was founded in 1890 and resurrected by the famous French chef Alain Ducasse. It has kept its red painted wood store front together with the original Maison Lyonnais sign. The dining area is a delight with its gleaming zinc wood covered bar, tiled floors, bevelled mirrors and ornate light fixtures.
Ducasse has appointed Francis Fauvel to take charge of the kitchen and you can expect a menu of hearty Lyonnais specialities. The regularly changing carte is keen to source locally and the signature dish of the restaurant is baked eggs with crawfish. The wine list which has been revamped by Ducasse's head sommelier has more than 80 well chosen selections.
