I'lle Maurice restaurant is a charming Mauritian restaurant in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. It is owned by a Mauritian couple and the exotic and inventive menu showcases Mauritian dishes which are a mixture of Indian and Creole cuisine.
Using the freshest of ingredients you might find Kalia, chicken prepared with spices from the islands with fresh mint and coriander or sauté beef, onion, ginger and fine herbs and for fish lovers octopus marinated in curry spices and mustard could appear on the menu. There are some delicious cocktails, a wine list or the local Mauritian beers Phoenix or Blue Marlin which are light and fresh. There are some very good value dishes on offer and you can be guaranteed of a very warm welcome.
