Review on The Pheasant Inn
Absolutely magnificent panoramic views from the stone-flagged conservatory restaurant across the Cheshire plain to the Welsh hills yet only 15 minutes by car from Chester, hidden down narrow country lanes in the Peckforton Hills, that's The Pheasant Inn.
With the Chefs working behind windows in the restaurant the cuisine becomes theatre and each dish a star performance. Start perhaps with sizzling Monkfish and Tiger prawns in sweet chilli jam with toasted pesto dipping bread or fresh local asparagus when in season. Braised lamb shank with roasted garlic and mint gravy, mash and sugar snap peas may follow or you could opt for a simple ploughman's lunch and choose from the wide selection of local farmhouse cheeses.
The Pheasant Inn also has ten well appointed bedrooms.
